Climate Commission: Use Your Voice to Shape Aotearoa

12th March 2021

Have Your Say on the Future of New Zealand The Commission has released a draft report, setting budgets and advice to the government on climate action. The proposals are going in the right direction, but there are gaps. Of particular concern to Mindful Money is the lack of policy recommendations on finance. We know that money is a driver of action for companies, but the Commission is virtually silent on what needs to change in our financial system.

The Commission has released a draft report, setting budgets and advice to the government on climate action. The proposals are going in the right direction, but there are gaps. Of particular concern to Mindful Money is the lack of policy recommendations on finance. We know that money is a driver of action for companies, but the Commission is virtually silent on what needs to change in our financial system.

Please see below for Mindful Money's submission which you can use as a template.

The deadline for submissions is 28th March 2021.

This plan will shape the future of New Zealand. It’s your chance to help make our country’s climate plan as strong as possible through the inclusion of finance.
