Simon O’Connor from the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) says many of the larger investors now recognize that if you ignore ethics and sustainability in your investments, you are ignoring some of the important issues driving successful investments today. Furthermore, if our financial regulators ignore the impact of climate change they are at massive risk of breaching their duties and obligations to manage its impact on our financial markets.
