Mindful Money now invites fund managers, financial advisers and journalists to submit entries for the Mindful Money 2022 Ethical Investment Awards.
Mindful Money founder and chief executive Barry Coates has announced that entries for the second ethical investing awards are now open.
"The awards celebrate those who are at the forefront of best practices in making money a force for good in Aotearoa," he says.
The inaugural awards event in 2021 was sold out and this year's awards have expanded with the addition of one new award category - the Best Ethical Overseas fund which will be open to Australian Unit Trusts (AUTs) and other funds active marketed in New Zealand through financial advisers and distributors.
Coates says: “We are thrilled to be holding the second annual Ethical and Impact Investment Awards. We had a great response last year, with around 50 entries, 26 independent and experienced judges, and a full house at the awards ceremony.”
The Mindful Money Awards celebrate the role that ethical and impact investing are playing in making money a force for good. They reflect the growing movement to re-orient investment finance towards sustainability and well-being, providing solutions to the mounting crises of climate change, biodiversity loss, and inequality.”
“These awards are a way of setting best practice standards in a sector where there are all-too-often misleading claims and greenwashing. Mindful Money is bringing objectivity and credibility to ethical and impact investment standards.”
“Mindful Money is thrilled to be working with Good Returns again this year as our Media Partner. We are very grateful for the opportunity to reach out to the leading financial advisers, fund managers and others in the finance community.”
