W.W. Grainger is a trading and distribution company which makes riot protection equipment, such as body protection systems, shields and batons. Manufacturing of equipment for riot control is concerning due to its usage against civilian populations.
Our multi-asset diversified funds gain some of their exposures via third party managers, and the Mindful Money screen provides useful information for us as we engage with those managers. The majority of companies flagging in the Harbour Diversified funds are derived indirectly through our global equity exposure and we continue to monitor their process via regular close contact with the managers.
