Fund Provider Response
As part of EcoLab’s Global Animal Welfare Policy, they are committed to animal testing alternatives. EcoLab has devised methods to refine, reduce, and ultimately replace animal testing in the future. Animal testing is only required by law or regulatory agencies if the science for nonanimal testing doesn’t exist, or if nonanimal testing has yet to be approved. When hazards cannot be identified using nonanimal testing, animal testing must be pre-approved by the internal Ecolab Animal Welfare Board if not already required by law or regulatory agencies. EcoLab’s mission is to create safer, healthier, and cleaner environments.
