About Mindful Investing
Making a difference
Mindful Investing works to encourage ethical investing to make Australian super funds a force for good. As specialists in ethical and impact investments, we're passionate about promoting finance for climate transition and a better world. We empower everyone to invest their savings responsibly.
Mindful Investing is a program of independent New Zealand charity Sustainable Initiatives Aotearoa that aims to make money a force for good. Since 2019, over 500,000 New Zealanders have used our New Zealand Mindful Money website to check their funds and we’ve supported the financial services industry in growing the ethical investment movement. Our research is referenced extensively in the media and is driving positive change in the investment sector. Read more about our New Zealand initiatives and impact in our 2024-25 Impact Report.
This pilot Australian platform brings our proven methodology to the MySuper fund and the ethical/responsible/socially conscious option for the largest super funds available to retail investors. Annual surveys show most Australians want to invest ethically but lack objective information to compare options. Our objective and independent information helps you make informed choices about where your retirement savings are invested.
Mindful Investing is grateful for the support provided for this project from a range of organisations. Australian Ethical Investment contributed funding that helped cover the cost of the analysis and the digital tool. This funding did not confer any ability to influence the research methodology, analysis, rankings or findings. Mindful Investing independently conducted the research and retains full editorial control over the report and tool. Many other organisations and individuals have also helped us understand the Australian market in order to compile the research and report, including Equity Generation Lawyers, ASFA, Ethical Advisers Coop, ACCR and Market Forces.
